The US Department of Education (ED) provided clarification about the temporary federal aid pause. The department confirmed that no grants or loans would be paused or delayed. Partner contributions that fully or partially cover student out-of-pocket costs will not be reflected in your financial aid award offer. The coverage amount will show on your Nelnet student account once enrolled. Once students receive an email instructing them to check their Nelnet account for recent transactions, they’ll be able to log into their Nelnet account at that time.
