When students do not comply with requirements necessary for their enrollment at Relay, student services teams may place student accounts on a hold. Holds can be placed on students’ abilities to register for classes, receive diplomas, return to Relay, and/or transfer programs. Failure to resolve a hold by a given due date may result in administrative withdrawal. A description of each hold can be found in the table below.
Tuition balances cannot be carried over from one academic year to the next. An academic year runs summer, fall, and spring terms. If a student has a tuition balance from the prior summer, fall, or spring term, they cannot register for the upcoming summer term of the new academic year.
For Spring/Summer 2023: Due to the publication date of this policy, this policy will go into effect beginning Summer 2023. Students can carry over a balance of $500 or less to register for the Summer 2023 term. Students registering for Fall 2023 cannot carry balances from any prior years. All balances from the prior academic years must be paid in full.
