How do I pay my bill with a personal check, debit or credit card?

Students are able to make payments to Relay using a debit card, credit card or by check.


To pay by check (*Please note our offices are currently closed due to COVID-19 and check processing will be delayed) 

Please make checks payable to Relay Graduate School of Education and include your student billing id number located in your Nelnet billing statement or financial aid offer letter.  Please send checks to the following address:

To pay by debit or credit card:

  1. Please log into your portal:
  2. Click on Minerva (First year students in CT, IL, TN, TX will Click on the Nelnet tile and skip the next two steps
  3. Click on Finance in the top portion of the screen 
  4. Click “Pay Using Nelnet” in the bottom portion of the screen
  5. (If applicable) Create an account
  6. Click on Transaction Details to view an itemized statement


Please note: Your balances for each term can be viewed. Please select the appropriate term!

You may need to confirm your information if you’re logging in for the first time.

To make a card payment using Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express

  1. Click on "Make a Payment"
  2. Each term with an active balance will show as a separate line
  3. Click the term(s) and type in the amount(s) you would like to pay

You will receive an email confirmation once the payment has been processed. 

If you are paying your installments with a credit or debit card, there will be a 2.85% transaction fee added. Payments made by bank account will not have a transaction fee added.

Haga los cheques pagaderos a Relay Graduate School of Education y incluya su número de identificación de facturación de estudiante que se encuentra en su estado de cuenta de Nelnet o en la carta de oferta de ayuda financiera. Envíe los cheques a la siguiente dirección:

  2. Haga clic en"Finanzas"
  3. Haga clic en "pagar con Nelnet"
  4. (Si procede) Crear una cuenta
  5. Haga clic en Detalles de la transacción para ver un informe detalladoa su portal de finanzas para estudiantes de Nelnet. Si es la primera vez que inicia sesión, deberá confirmar su información.

Para realizar un pago con tarjeta mediante Visa, MasterCard, Discover o American Express

  1. Haga clic en "Realizar un pago".
  2. Cada término con un saldo activo se mostrará como una línea separada
  3. Haga clic los términos y el tipo de cantidad que le gustaría pagar. Recibirá una confirmación por correo electrónico una vez que se haya procesado el pago.

Si está pagando sus cuotas con una tarjeta de crédito o débito, se agregará una tarifa de transacción del 2.85%. Los pagos realizados por cuenta bancaria no tendrán una comisión por transacción añadida.
