State-Specific Transcript Deadlines

While Relay requires transcripts from all institutions of higher education you have attended to be submitted for review, some campuses (state locations) allow an exception and may admit you if you have only provided your official bachelor’s degree transcript. Transcript exceptions are made at the discretion of the admissions and certification teams.

 

If the Relay campus does not require all transcripts (listed below), you may still be asked to submit unreceived transcripts during the admissions process if more information is needed in order to issue an admissions decision.

Additionally, campuses that require all transcripts (listed below) may waive a transcript requirement in specific instances. This is rare and is done on a case-by-case basis. 

 

States that require all transcripts before releasing an admissions decision:

• Connecticut

• Delaware

• Illinois

• New Jersey 

• New York

• Texas

If you are applying to a state that requires all transcripts, please order official transcripts from all institutions of higher education you’ve attended to be sent to Relay when you begin your application.

 

States that require at least the official bachelor’s transcript before releasing an admissions decision:

• Colorado

• Georgia

• Pennsylvania

• Rhode Island 

• Tennessee

• Washington D.C.

If you are applying to a state that may only need the official bachelor’s transcript, please order your official bachelor’s degree-conferred transcript when you begin your application. Relay will notify you if additional transcripts are required.

 

Applicants who earned their bachelor’s degree at institutions outside of the United States, please refer to our International Transcript Policy here. 

 

 

Colorado
